7th Annual AT&T Acoustic Music Festival

In its 7^th year, the festival has become one of the most popular events in the region to discover new and emerging artists, as well as a valuable opportunity for musicians to be discovered by local promoters and agents. The eclectic mix of local, regional and national artists enable all musicians to come together and be heard. It's a way to celebrate the simple things in life for free and everyone is invited to come enjoy and participate in the music.

Tidewater Arts Outreach has been a partner in the festival since its inception organizing Open Mic sessions, workshops on how to produce House Concerts, to promoting their members' art.  This year, the TAO will host the Emerging Artists Stage.  "The Acoustic Music Festival is a wonderful day of live, spontaneous music of all kinds in Town Point Park, which creates an inspiring and engaging atmosphere", states MaryAnn Toboz, Founder and Director of Tidwater Arts Outreach. "Tidewater Arts Outreach is happy to have this partnership, where we can promote upcoming artists at the Emerging Artists stage, and where we can invite musicians to come together, meet, play and experience the community of artists that is a vibrant and vital part of the fabric of Tidewater."

Throughout the festival grounds, merchants will be selling items ranging from handmade jewelry and clothing to Fair Trade and Green products, along with music on sale from the festival musicians.
