The sun goes down, the stars come out, and the largest outdoor dance floor in Hampton Roads heats up at the 10th Annual Latino Festival on Saturday, August 28, 2010 5pm-10pm. The festival, coordinated by artisitic director Carlos Munoz and Norfolk Festevents, is free and everyone is welcome!

Headlining this year's festival is national recording artist Seis Del Solar.  Formed in 1983, Seis Del Solar was the band that accompanied Salsa star Ruben Blades when he launched his career as a solo artist.  With Blades as one of the most important artists, and Seis Del Solar as one of the most innovative bands in Latin music, they produced some landmark recordings, which went on to garner world acclaim. 

So you think you can dance? Warm up your dancing feet, grab a partner and compete in our 2nd annual Dance Contest hosted by DJ Carlos Munoz. Cash prizes will be awarded to the dancers with the hottest moves! The Dance Contest begins promptly at 5pm in front of the Main Stage.

In addition to Seis Del Solar and dance contests, local Latino bands and DJs will be performing on stage.
