Spring has finally sprung and Festevents will celebrate by offering a series of special "dog days" of early summer with "YAPPY HOUR ON THE WATERFRONT", happening on four Sunday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM from April through June 2010.

Norfolk Festevents will play host to the Yappy Hour event series, beginning on Sunday, April 25^th, 2010. Yappy Hour will be held outside at the Waterside Amphitheatre adjacent to the Waterside Marina.  This is a special opportunity for dog owners and lovers to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon with their best friend on the beautiful downtown Norfolk waterfront with an event designed exclusively for them. Attendees can enjoy adult beverages and snacks like hotdogs and hush puppies, while their pups snack on dog treats.

Guests can also register to win free daycare compliments of WAGS Doggie Daycare.

YAPPY HOUR ON THE WATERFRONT RULES FOR ATTENDANCE

• Owners are legally responsible for any bodily injury and property damage caused by their dog.
• Owners must clean up and dispose of waste left by their dog and provide the equipment for these tasks.
• Dog owners must remain with their dog and must keep dogs leashed at all times.
• Dogs must wear valid rabies vaccination and city license tags.
• No dogs in intense heat are allowed.
• Puppies must be older than four months.
• Dogs showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be immediately leashed and removed.
• A maximum of three dogs per owner is allowed at any one time.
