The Elizabeth River ferry runs every 30 minutes 7 days per week. There is one stop in Norfolk at Waterside, and two stops in Portsmouth - at High Street and at North Landing. Monday through Thursday service starts at 7:00AM and ends at 10:00PM, with the last ferry leaving Waterside at 9:45PM. Friday service is 7:00AM to Midnight, with the last ferry leaving Waterside at 11:45PM. Saturday service is 10:00AM to Midnight with the last ferry leaving Waterside at 11:45PM. Sunday service is 10:00AM to 10:00PM with the last ferry leaving Waterside at 9:45PM.  Schedules are subject to change based on weather or other events.
